Masterwork Observatory

Gamma Acosta - Street Artist. Longmont's own Gamma Acosta will be back again for the September Walk. The world has become his painting surface. He has a way with a spray can that took him beyond the hardened parameters of street writing.

Today, he's working all the time: creating murals inside and out for businesses across the Front Range and even showing off his talents at Art Basel Miami and other out-of-state venues.

Bub Comedy performance

Bub Comedy - locally brewed laughter - will be performing from 4-8pm on Main street between 3rd and 4th Ave.

Photography exhibit and Competition at Crackpots During September ArtWalk!

All summer we've been choosing the best images submitted to the Longmont Compass #SundayShots feature, showcasing our town and local talent. At the exhibit, our three judges – Brandy Coons of ArtWalk Longmont, Jon Rice of The Longmont Compass, and Julie Cardinal of the DARKROOM Gallery – will select three winners.

Public Interactive Stations

"Chain Linked Garden"-come and help Artwalk build a chain link garden.View bird houses featured by various SVVSD schools and in May add paper mâché flowers, in July add butterflies, and in Sept add colorful leaves. Watch our garden grow and become colorful throughout our Artwalk season!

"Picture This"- Come and help us paint a community piece of art.

Kids Tie Stories Together - join in on this creative storytelling circle in the in St. Stephens plaza (Main St and 5th).

"Pollock Paintings"- come help us create our own Jackson Pollock canvas masterpiece.

"Picasso moments"- children's easel painting station. Come and paint your own "Picasso" to take home!

"Famous Faces"- create your own famous face with oil pastels.

Artist Village

Enchanted Working Artist Village - Come and watch and buy local art in our ENCHANTED WORKING ART VILLAGE on 4th Ave. East. This transformational community forest will feature the enchanting artworks ranging from wire-wrapping stones, intuitive pastel portraits, clay figurines, acrylic paintings and beading. View art in progress and buy a piece to take home and enjoy. Throughout the Artwalk season add onto the various installments by leaving feathers, leaves, paper flowers, stars, or origami birds..... Return for each event and see how our forest flourishes!

Enchanted Working Artist Village Host Christina Cappelletti, is a Longmont artist who enjoys designing creatively transformative experiences for people. Along with her installations, she creates mixed media artworks, teaches classes and offers Art&Spirit; coaching to help people Be Who You Are Created To Be. Vibrant color and whimsy feature prominently in her intuitive arts, now showing in KCP Gallery in downtown Longmont. Learn more about her at
